Author Chris Evans launches new responsive website

We are excited to announce a new responsive website for Chris Evans, author of Of Bone And Thunder! Chris’s new book is out now on Gallery Books and sold by Simon and Schuster. The book is a fantasy war novel built on Vietnam War era themes and takes a unique approach to the genre focusing on an individual soldier’s struggle with jungle warfare as opposed to broad encompassing, big-picture fantasy that is much more common. We admire this approach as we believe a good story doesn’t always have to be about saving the universe or something on that scale.

The website design is inspired by Vietnam era military designs with an emphasis on readability. The goal was to take themes from the Vietnam war in order to help set the pace for readers interested in Chris’s latest novel. Functionally, the site offers a service to Chris’s fans allowing them to keep track of his work, learn about and share information on his books, and contact him personally.

This website also gave us the opportunity to research and pay homage to the sacrifices of our Vietnam Veterans and acknowledge the price they had to pay for their service to our country. We are excited to learn more about the real life soldiers that inspired Of Bone And Thunder as Chris features them on his Veterans Memorial page.

We wish Chris much success on his new novel! Go to chrisevansauthor.com to learn more.

I am thrilled with my new site! Amy and Ethan, you did an amazing job. I’m not well versed in the technical side of the internet so my main request was to have a site that was easy to use. EASY! Something straightforward and bold. BeBetterStudios came through with flying colors, including troubleshooting every issue that came up. I’m recommending them to all my writer friends.

    Cheers!

    Chris
