Amy and I recently had the honor of speaking at the 2026 Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Convention in Phoenix, Arizona. We participated in the church planting segment. For around 6 minutes we addressed hundreds of Lutherans from the stage, mostly pastoral and layman voting delegates and committee members. We told an abridged version of our faith journey and how it led us to our commitment to the Lakes Region Lutheran Church, a church plant in nearby Moultonborough, NH. It was a joy to see so many Lutherans in one place. We met many fellow New Englanders in the NE LCMS circuits. We also had a chance to connect with many of the church Missions represented in the exhibition hall. Lots of exciting stuff happening across the board. It’s great to see so much opportunity in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod!
