We are happy to announce a new responsive website for freelance editor Annaka Harris. Annaka’s speciality is in furthering the public’s understanding of science and the editing of non-fiction books. Her new children’s book I Wonder follows the journey of a little girl with her mother and how together they learn to accept the challenges of understanding some of the universe’s scientific mysteries. The book encourages readers by showing that it’s ok to not know the answer to some of the universe’s questions and teaches them to appreciate the value in the question itself. Wonderfully illustrated by John Rowe, the book is scheduled to release on October 13th, 2013.
Annaka’s website is built on the WordPress platform, with an emphasis on good design and content delivery. As a responsive site, it a pleasure to read on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. It’s a great example of what can be achieved with minimal resources. Custom illustrations were made by Amy Larkin of And How.
