We are proud to announce a brand new website for the Lakes Region Lutheran Church (LRLC). The LRLC is part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), and is new to the Lakes Region. There are no LCMS churches north of Manchester, so a group was formed to bring an LCMS destination closer to the Lakes and White Mountain Regions.
The newly formed LRLC congregation accepts and preaches the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther which inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
We like the LCMS Lutheran church because they offer a framework you can use for understanding God’s word in scripture through Luther’s Catechisms and they also have the Sacraments. Nothing charges you up, and gets you ready to take on the week like Holy Communion. We also like their rich musical tradition.
